The internet revolution

Your views on how the internet has changed our society and culture.
The internet has had a huge impact on millions of people worldwide. It has changed publishing, communication and the way we interact with each other. But has all this change been for the better? Some say it’s the greatest force for democracy since the printing press while others have called it “a dictatorship of idiots”. Is the internet a social revolution allowing mass participation and access to knowledge? Or is it damaging our society and culture?

Guests:
Andrew Keen - Author of ‘The Cult of the Amateur, How Today’s Internet is Killing Our Culture and Assaulting Our Economy’
Mick Fealty - Creator of Slugger O'Toole blog
Stephen Coleman, Professor of Political Communication, Institute of Communications Studies, University of Leeds
Justin McLaren - MD of 8hwe
