Summary

Transhumance is the movement of man - over the course of a week Bulgarian shepherds move their livestock down from the mountains to new pastures in the lowlands. Tessa McGregor reports from somewhere along the migration. Elsewhere, Brett tries to uncover some of the mysteries of the Eel's migration, we have an update on our tagged Salmon in the River Tyne and Nimrod the Osprey has reached Africa.
