Hello from Worthing. This photo was taken in about 1976 of my two children.
We had just move into our first home in Worthing so the garden was derelict.
My Dad was putting up a garage for us and the children adored helping. Note the stereotypical toys! Even though I had lived through the sixties!
All clothes for them were home-made by me. My Mum is in the background - as always in the kitchen. We spent a lot of time seeing each other, having family teas etc.
Happy, poor and with time on our side in all senses.
