This photograph was taken in October 1968, on a wet Sunday in Blackpool! We had gone on a coach trip with the family (there was little else to do on a Sunday in the midlands!) We were both 19 at the time. We now live a few hundred miles apart, but have remained close friends for over 38 years! The only thing to have changed in that time is the length of our hemlines and our hair colour. My then black hair is now coloured blonde in a vain attempt to hide all grey, and Lyns (blonde in pic) is now dark brown.
