Synopsis: 10 year old Marsha lives with her mother and siblings in a suburb of Washington D.C. In the spring of 1972, a young boy is sexually abused, murdered and his body dumped. But this is only the most visible crime in Marsha's neighbourhood.

Penny Vincent
This was a disturbing and moving novel - I found it compelling. The child's viewpoint seemed very real.
