Puppeteer Graciela Monteagudo Thursday 26 June 2003
Puppeteer Graciela Monteagudo is an Argentinian artist and human rights activist who has toured the world using her puppets to raise awareness of the economic pressures on her home country, and of the repression many of its citizens have experienced.

She is a protest veteran, having taken her street theatre to the G8 demonstration at Calgary and the anti-war march in Washington, both of which took place last year.
Graciela joins Jenni to explain how her experience as a young women in Buenos Aires turned her on to puppetry as a way of expressing her political views.
