  Theary Seng 26 Sep 2005
On her book, Daughter of the Killing Fields

When Theary Seng was three years old she was forced to flee her home in Phnom Penh and within days her father was murdered.  She was imprisoned at the age of six and her mother was also murdered; throughout the four years of the Khmer Rouge dictatorship she would witness yet more horror and brutality.

She eventually managed to escape to America but recently returned to live in Cambodia and, now a lawyer, she hopes to assist the tribunal of former Khmer Rouge leaders which is planned for next year.

She talks to Jenni about her terrible experiences and about her new book, Daughter of the Killing Fields.

Daughter of the Killing Fields is published by Fusion Press, ISBN:1904132707
