Do men hear women's voices differently from the way they hear men's?

It's official men really do hear women's voices differently to the way they hear men's voices.

Could this be a reason for the famed male selective deafness that women talk so much about?

Dr Michael Hunter who's behind the new research at Sheffield University, Susan Stern, a voice coach who helps women in public life command respect, and Jodie Fielder, the BBC's first female football commentator join Jenni to discuss the best way for women to get their point across to men.
