Collaborative law and divorce 26 April 2005
Will this new approach help couples to an amicable separation?

Over a hundred and fifty thousand people currently get divorced every year. For many it is a difficult time of emotional turmoil.

Jenni finds out about a new approach known as 'collaborative law'. Two hundred and fifty lawyers are now trained to take this collaborative route in which the divorcing couples set the agenda themselves and discuss what they want in a series of round-the-table meetings.
