It's no secret that Strictly Come Dancing has fired a huge interest across the generations in the cha cha, the foxtrot, the quickstep and the waltz.

But there's a generation now in their early fifties who learned all the steps at school, spent their young lives twisting or doing their own thing, who would now quite like to regain the glamour and poise of the ballroom and get exercise that's infinitely more interesting than pounding away at the gym.

Colin Dallibar met one such couple at Sandhams Studio in Bolton: Jenni Murray and her partner, Dave.
