  Can't dance, won't dance 27 December 2004
Why are men reluctant dancers?

Strictly Come Dancing has been a hugely successful show for Saturday nights, although you couldn't help but feel sorry for the guys who had to lead the professional women around. It seemed so much easier to be Jill Halfpenny or Denise Lewis than Julian Clary or Aled Jones. Or is it just that men find it harder to lose their inhibitions on the dance floor and really go for it?

Jenni talks to Diarmuid Gavin who tried his best on Strictly Come Dancing, Dr Andree Grau, lecturer in Dance at Roehampton University and Mil Millington, columnist, writer and reluctant tripper of the light fantastic.
