Principal ballerina with Royal Ballet

When she joined the Royal Ballet School at the age of 13 she was told by a teacher she had no aptitude for ballet. But at 19 the legendary choreographer Kenneth McMillan spotted her star quality  and Darcey Bussell became the youngest ever principal with the company when only 21.

And now, at the age of 35, she's just returned to the stage after the birth of her second child and she'll dance Cinderella on New Year's Eve.
