  Margaret Cho 01 December 2004
In the United States, she is a huge star, performing her stand-up comedy to packed-out theatres

In the United Kingdom she is almost unknown.

But all that could soon change as outspoken Korean-American comic Margaret Cho prepares for a month’s residency in London.

Jenni speaks to her about her life as an outrageous gay icon, and asking what her parents make of it all.

Margaret's State of Emergency tour runs at the New Players Theatre, London until 01 January
