Women in IT 20 October 2004
Why are the numbers declining?

Though recent A-Level results show that women are twice as successful as men in IT, the number of women in the IT industry in the UK last year dropped to 20%.

To discuss this trend, Woman's Hour is joined by Wendy Hall of the British Computer Society and by Kathy Rittweger, entrepreneur and co-founder of the internet service blinkx.
