Mother of three, Geri Allen talks about how family and motherhood have influenced her life as a musician

Since the release of Printmakers, her first album in 1984, Geri Allen’s career, has been one of fusion and collaboration – fusion of a whole variety of music interests, from Debussy to Motown, and collaboration with many of the jazz greats.
