The biggest Irish Dancing competition in Britain is due to get underway next month.

There are now 35,000 Irish dancers in the UK and 250,000 world-wide, of which the majority are female. Judy Merry went to find out why the number of girls who are passionate about this tradition is still growing.

The Irish Dancing Championships of Great Britain will be held at Pontins Holiday Camp, Brean Sands, Somerset  13 to 17 October.
