  World War I plays about women 1 October 2004  
Forgotten plays reveal how women were depicted during WWI

Ninety years ago they thought it would be over by Christmas, but World War I lasted four years and transformed the lives of many women.

Plays about women from that era have recently been unearthed and reveal a portrait that still has a relevance today.
Martha talks to theatre director, Tricia Thorns.
