Reading Groups: Brighton 17 September 2004
Reading groups around the country are coming together to discuss and nominate their watershed choices

Woman's Hour went to Southern Counties Radio's Brighton office to speak to some women from local reading groups about their choices.

Amongst the books discussed were:

Anne Tyler's The Amateur Marriage; Brick Lane by Monica Ali; The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood; The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold and a popular favourite was Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre.
