  Children's clothes 8 July 2004
Would you let your child decide what to wear?

Do you encourage your child to choose what they want to wear - no matter how outlandish? Or is it a case of who pays the piper, chooses the shoes?

Jane Hodson reports on what happened when she took her daughter shopping in Manchester.

And Jenni is joined by Diana Appleyard, author of Homing Instinct  and mother of two daughters, and Anna Coverdale, Managing Director of Coverdale Davis PR and mother of a son and daughter.
