  Modern Living 11 May 2004

How did Terence Conran shape the way we live today?

40 years ago today, Terence Conran opened his first Habitat store by a roundabout in London. It caused traffic queues as fascinated passers-by stared at his new concept in interior design.

Terence Conran talks to Corinne Julius about his influence on our homes.

And Jenni is joined by Editor of House and Garden, Sue Crewe and designer and author, Tricia Guild to discuss the changing relationship we have with our living spaces.
