Linda Carty, Briton on death row 23 Mar 2004
She was convicted in 2002 for killing a woman in the USA as part of a plot to kidnap the victim's baby. She is now on death row in Texas, the only British woman awaiting execution in George Bush's home state. She has always denied the charges.

Linda now has new lawyers, led by Clive Stafford Smith, the British death row attorney based in New Orleans. His team is arguing for more time to investigate the case fully.

Clive Stafford Smith and Linda's daughter Jovelle Joubert join Jenni to discuss the case.
