You might not be prepared to pay £8 million for the world's most expensive underwear set, but more women than ever are willing to fork out for posh pants and bras.

Is there any point in spending lots of money on clothes very few people are going to see? Do expensive undies really make you feel great or if they're just a big rip-off?
