American journalist, Adrian Nicole LeBlanc spent ten years of her life at the heart of the Puerto Rican community in the Bronx.

Her new book Random Family explores a world of drugs, violence and casual sex. But, in spite of the odds, she also finds optimism and the loyalty of gang and family.
