Is There a Business Case for Equality in the Workplace Monday 26 May 2003
An economic summit to be held next week will examine the impact of women's participation in the labour force on the UK's productivity.

Patricia Hewitt Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, will argue there is a business case for companies to pursue gender equality in the workplace.
But is there really a business argument which will persuade employers that equal employment policies wil make them more money - and even if there is, is it a wise line to pursue?
Richard Reeves, a research associate for the Work Foundation and Norma Jarbode, Director of Opportunity Now join Jenni to discuss.
