Nicola Green's Laughing Matters
This Sunday is World Laughter Day. Laughter has been claimed to enhance your immune system, to release endorphins, and cure depression, insomnia, high blood pressure and stress. But no one fully understands how, or indeed what laughter really is.

Now an artist has taken it upon herself to uncover the true nature of laughter. Nicola Green has produced a limited edition record of people laughing, and filmed laughing portraits with documentary maker Lara Agnew.
She joins Martha to explain how she began as a portrait painter and about the exhibition, Laughing Matters.
The exhibition 'Laughing Matters' is at the Vinyl Factory, Marshall St, W1 until 7 May, then tours UK festivals - including Edinburgh.
