The Company of Women Thursday 3 April 2003
It seems that all women enclaves are developing in our public spaces. The Park Lane Hilton now has a women-only floor and a bar aimed at women who want to socialise with other women opens later this month in Manchester.

So are we finally admitting that we prefer the company of our women friends ? and that single-sex company isn't second best?
Ex-Cosmopolitan Editor Marcelle D'Argy Smith, Sasha Roseneil Professor of Sociology and Gender Studies at Leeds University, and freelance writer and broadcaster Emma Jones join Jenni to discuss.
