  Herbs - Marigolds Friday 7 February 2003
The flower marigold has a rather romantic tradition and it's even said that the state of a marigold plant can tell you whether your partner is being faithful to you.

In the next in our series on herbs Miranda Seymour, author of A Brief History Of Thyme and Other Herbs showed Claudia Hammond the many uses of the flower - including a marigold face cleanser.
A Brief History of Thyme and Other Herbs by Miranda Seymour and Jane Macfarlane, published by John Murray; ISBN: 0719563275
