This year saw the Sexual Offences Bill, much-heralded announcements on domestic violence and an increasingly vocal debate over the work-life balance. We also had a judge's potentially pivotal ruling in favour of a wealthy divorcing wife whose husband described her life as "revolving around children and microwave". These all hit the headlines, but will they have any real impact for women?
