  Globalisation Tuesday 3 December 2002
In her book The Silent Takeover, anti globalisation campaigner Noreena Hertz barely mentions women.

But now she has come to the conclusion that women are disproportionately bearing the brunt of our global development strategy, working for subsistence wages in conditions that are degrading and dangerous.
Noreena Hertz and Professor Anne Phillips join Jenni to discuss.
The Silent Takover: Global Capitalism and the Death of Democracy by Noreena Hertz, published by Arrow; ISBN: 0099410591
