Driving Phobias Monday 2 December 2002
Journalist Rachel Cook passed her driving test in 1989 and copes quite happily with London's rush-hour traffic.

But until last month she'd never once driven on a motorway. Just the thought of it brought her out in a cold sweat.
She's not alone. The fear of driving is a common phobia suffered by thousands of people - particularly women.
Rachel Cooke and driving expert Carol Sharp join Jenni to discuss why what why people are so terrified of getting behind the wheel.
