Sissy Spacek Friday 25 January 2002
The Golden Globe Awards are usually taken as an indication of who will win an Oscar. If this is the case, then Sissy Spacek is up for a gong.

She's just won a Best Actress Award for her performance in the film In the Bedroom. In it she plays a mother whose son is shot by his girlfriends ex-husband. The film follows her grieving process and we see the strain it causes to her marriage.
Martha talks to Sissy about how she felt for her character as a mother herself and asks how optimistic she feels about getting that coveted Oscar.
