Women in prison II Thursday 6 December 2001
On Monday's Woman's Hour we asked if the increase in women being sent to prison, is down to a change in sentencing or simply a change in women's behaviour.

There has been a sharp rise particularly over the last three months, with two new prisons being built to house female inmates.
Jenni is joined by Beverley Hughes, Minister for Prisons and Probation, to find out exactly what the government is doing to tackle the problem.
