The Bekova Trio Tuesday 20 November 2001
The Bekova Trio from Kazakhstan were, at one time, renowned prodigies in the former Soviet Union.

The sisters are now based in London and will be performing at this year's St Ceciliatide International Festival of Music, an annual festival to celebrate St Cecilia, who has been invoked as patron saint of music at festivals around the world, for the last 400 years.
Eleanora, Elvira and Alfia Bekova talk to Jenni about their flight to the West, and whether being sisters gives them an edge over their contemporaries. They also perform live in the studio.
The St Ceciliatide International Festival will be held on 18-25 November 2001. For more details click on the link.
