Genetic Sexual Attaction Monday 12 May 2003
Anthony Smedley was found guilty of incest earlier this month at York Crown Court. He and Janet Paveling, who have been having a relationship, share a mother and were separated for 25 years.

It seems that what happened between Anthony and Janet is far from uncommon and even has a name. It's called Genetic Sexual Attraction and is a familiar phenomenon to those who work with people who have been adopted and then meet up with long lost siblings. It is, though, still a taboo. But why does it occur?
Psychologist Robin Dunbar and Pam Hodgkins, the founder of Norcap, join Jenni to discuss.
