On 7th October 2001 Debra Veal set out with her husband to row in the Ward Evans Atlantic Rowing Challenge.

After only two weeks, husband Andrew pulled out of the race leaving Debra alone to row over 2000 miles on one of the worlds toughest oceans.
Debra talks to Sheila about her life changing experience.
