  U.N.F.P.A. Tuesday 8 April 2003
With all eyes on the conflict in Iraq at the moment, it's hard to imagine that any part of this much analysed situation could be overlooked. But the United Nations Population Fund fears that just that could be happening with the country's women - particularly, its pregnant women.

The Fund is appealing for aid to help the women in the hope that they can avert a more serious crisis in female health.
Head of the Humanitarian Response Unit, Pam Delargey, joins Jenni to give the run-down on how Iraqi women are faring.
