Betty Pepper 9 December 2009
'Woman's Hour' by Betty Pepper
A new generation of jeweller

Betty Pepper trained as a jeweller but takes her inspiration from textiles, embroidery and stories. Her projects include hollowed out books strung with necklaces, miniature portraits and embroidery. Now she has a new exhibit in the Brilliantly Birmingham Exhibition, inspired by the stories she has heard on Woman’s Hour. Betty tells Jenni how those stories have influence her designs.

The Brilliantly Birminham Exhibition at the Birmingham Art Gallery runs until February 28th 2010
