The Kenyan midwife campaigning to reduce deaths in labour

More than a half a million women worldwide die every year from complications during pregnancy and delivery, but, in countries where the care of a midwife throughout the process is a given, maternal mortality rates plummet. Kenyan midwife Zeena Abdalla Ramadhan – affectionately known as Mama Zeena - has helped bring more babies into the world than she can count. She joins Jenni to share her story and explain why an urgent re-allocation of health funding is the answer to ending these unnecessary deaths.
