Breast Cancer: Diary of a Reconstruction Part Two |
17 Oct 2007 |
Almost two years ago Kerry Fowler was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy. At the time she opted against having any kind of reconstructive surgery as she thought it was unnecessary and purely cosmetic. But as time went on she started to change her mind. She went back into the operating theatre to have a new breast made from silicone and muscle from her back.
Reporter Anna McNamee returned to find out how it went.
