Role Model 11 Feb 2007
Kiran Devi is officially a role model -- quite a weight to rest on the shoulders of any young woman. She was chosen last year along with two other women by the UN children's fund, UNICEF in a programme aimed at empowering women in India. Kiran's own story is certainly inspirational. She lives in the slums of Patna, the capital of Bihar, but has used her natural entrepreneurial skills to develop a thriving business.

Reporter Sunita Nahar went to meet her.
