Food
Turkish Delight 20 Jun 2006
In CS Lewis's classic children's book "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" there is a scene where the boy, Edmund is trapped and then enslaved by the evil Witch. Edmund's undoing is a plate of magic Turkish delight that he gorges himself silly on before betraying his brother and two sisters. If your appetite for Turkish delight was tainted by the story then prepare yourself to be tested again.

Food writer Anissa Helou tempts Anna McNamee with a whole new world of sticky possibilities.
