Naomie Harris
On her role in 'Blood and Oil'

The actor Naomie Harris has a lead role in the new BBC thriller 'Blood and Oil', set in the Niger Delta, a beautiful but highly dangerous region of Nigeria. She plays a PR woman who is flown out to help smooth over a kidnapping in the oil industry. But things don’t go to plan. Naomie joins Jenni to talk about her varied career, how she coped with being bullied as a child, and her long-term ambition to play Jane Austen’s Elizabeth Bennet.

Blood and Oil will be shown in two parts on BBC2 at 9pm on Monday 29th March and Tuesday 30th March
