One woman's story of being photographed to mark major events in her life
Jane Lancashire set up Liberty Photography several years ago, as an offshoot of her traditional family portrait business. The aim was to make women feel better about themselves nude in front of the camera. Tory originally went for a studio session to celebrate her pregnancy. Two years later she has returned to be photographed, having emerged from a series of tragic events. Her husband Gareth died shortly after their son was born; and then she developed breast cancer. After two years of treatment and breast reconstruction, Tory now feels ready for another session in front of the camera this time with her sister Fi. Reporter Sara Parker went along to see how they got on.
