Moving house or staying put 19 Jun 2009
Terraced house
The pleasures and trauma of having a new home.

Moving house - with the inevitable surveys, estate agents, solicitor’s fees and packing - is something that few people look forward to. And yet, it can also be a great way to start a new chapter in your life. Anna Rains has lived all over the world and in the last 66 years has had 46 different homes …. including a ship, a bus, a schooner in Hong Kong, sky scrapers and a thatched cottage. She now lives in Cheshire and has no plans to move again. She joins Jenni, along with Kirsty Allsop - presenter of Channel 4’s Location, Location, Location - to discuss the pleasures and trauma of moving into a new home.
