Mills & Boon: Indian Style 22 May 2009
Mills & Boon
Love in a yoga class – we talk to Mills & Boon’s first author signed in India.

They sell three books every second in the UK yet still strive to expand their sales ever upwards. Mills & Boon, the world’s largest romance publisher, has just completed its biggest search ever for fresh, literary talent with a competition to find new authors in India. Milan Vohra won with her short story, ‘The Love Asana’, a tale of passion conquering all in a yoga class. She joins Jenni, alongside Mills and Boon leading author, Penny Jordan who has sold over 85 million books so far in her career. Will the Mills and Boon brand of romance translate as successfully across non-western cultures?
