Exploring some of the highlights of the collections of the Museums and Galleries of Liverpool

The city is marking its position as European Capital of Culture this year, and as part of the celebrations Woman’s Hour has been finding out about some of the treasures on display there. Today we’re at Sudley House just outside the centre of the city, where Louise Adamson went to meet Pauline Rushton, who’s Curator of Costumes and Textiles at the National Museums Liverpool, to see a dress from around 1910.
The dress is on display at Sudley House until Easter 2009
