It’s on sale in 121 countries, available in 29 languages and if you haven’t got one of the 100 million or so sets that have been sold, you can play it by post or online. Scrabble, that trusty standby of a damp autumn evening, celebrates its 60th birthday this year. Kate Arkless Gray went to Rothay Manor in Windermere to find out how we can all join the celebrations on a Scrabble holiday.
