Cobnuts 3 Dec 2007
The much neglected Kentish cobnut

Nuts are part of Christmas - but few people have heard of the Kentish cobnut. Jill Webb and her family have been growing cobnuts for years. She is the latest in her line to inherit the family business and relies on mail order and farmers markets to supply her customers. Today the cobnut is also threatened by imports of other nuts, but Jill is passionate about her product and reporter Sara Parker went to meet her.
