The founder of the Body Shop has died at 64

Anita Roddick opened her first Body Shop in Brighton in 1976, floating the company on the stock market in 1984. Last year she sold the Body Shop to L'Oreal for an estimated £650m. One of the UK's most successful businesswomen, Anita Roddick was also a passionate campaigner for ethical issues and a renowned philanthropist.
