Are MRI scans better at detecting an early form of breast cancer than standard mammograms?

Recent research has suggested that MRI scans are far better at detecting an early form of breast cancer than standard mammograms. The study - published in The Lancet - focused on an early form of breast cancer called DCIS. Jane is joined by Dr Emma Pennery of Breast Cancer Care to discuss these latest findings and their implications regarding screening for breast cancer.
